About Living Portraits LLC

Greg Alan RobinsonGreg Robinson is managing member of Living Portraits LLC, a corporation created to celebrate life. Providing quality portraits while promoting quality of life, Living Portraits LLC provides graphite portraits that capture cherished moments of living life as opposed to simply reproducing a school or professional studio photo in pencil.

Favorite, unprofessional, candid photos from clients are the source of the artist’s black and white interpretation of each celebrated moment of living.

Though graduating in 1983 with a minor in art from The University of Montevallo in Alabama, Greg is largely a self-taught artist. He has developed a personal, unique style of black and white graphite drawing. He utilizes the full value range in a way that draws the viewer in close to see the extreme detail of his work and then pushes the viewer two steps back to enjoy the full composition of darks and lights dancing with each other across the composition.

Greg’s background of having lived in Bangladesh, South Korea, Taiwan, and France and seeing human need first-hand is part of his desire to see a portion of Living Portraits LLC’s income become a resource to feed the hungry. This desire is fueled by his wife Jodie’s drive to make this dream a reality. The hope is that thousands upon thousands of pencil strokes will draw out the corporate vision:

“Framing memories, feeding multitudes.”
